The TWSD maintains two fishing lakes for the community of Timberon.  One is located near the golf course driving range and adjacent to the horseshoe pits, and a second fishing lake is located behind the Timberon Lodge. These are stocked by NM Fish and Game, and a New Mexico Fishing License is required. NM Game and Fish regulations apply.

The fishing pond at the golf course is located at a high point in Timberon with a full view of the Sacramento Mountain range. You and your family can enjoy a relaxing day watching the water fowl and the wildlife while catching a few nice trout for dinner.
